tasted after stored in the plastic containers. This container resembles one of my jerry gas cans. It looks sturdy, and light weight and there is no chance of confusing it with one of my gas cans. I would like to store some water for six months at least and then give a taste test. I'm using purification drops in my 15-gal blue water containers as well, so I'm sure it will be safe to drink.
