HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Always read the full directions and test the adhesive on a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding with the main application. Ensure the surface to be bonded or repaired is thoroughly clean, completely dry, and free from any dirt, grease, or debris. For the most effective bond, it is recommended to lightly roughen the surface before application.
- Tube Opening: Puncture the seal located in the neck of the adhesive tube using the pointer cap. Ensure that the application environment is within the recommended temperature range of 50 to 90 °F (10 to 32 °C) for optimal results.
- Application: Apply the Amazing GOOP Automotive & RV Adhesive directly and evenly to each of the surfaces you intend to bond or repair.
- Mating Surfaces: After applying the adhesive, allow it to partially cure for approximately 2 minutes before bringing the two surfaces together. The adhesive hardens through solvent evaporation and forms an immediate bond upon contact, which makes repositioning difficult once pressure is applied and full contact is established.
- Curing: Allow the repaired area to cure for a minimum of 24 hours. The adhesive achieves its maximum strength, depending on the specific materials involved and the ambient temperature, within 48 to 72 hours.
