- 1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the repair surface is clean, free of oil, and grease. For enhanced adhesion, slightly roughen the surface with sandpaper.
- 2. Application: Open the tube by piercing the seal. Apply the Liquid Metal Filler directly from the tube onto the damaged area. For a smoother finish, use a wet putty knife or spatula to even out the filler.
- 3. Drying Time: Liquid Metal Filler sets in about 3 to 4 hours. For deeper holes, apply the filler in layers, each no thicker than ¼ inch, allowing each to dry completely before adding the next.
- 4. Cleanup: Remove any excess Liquid Metal Filler with Acetone or nail polish remover.
