HOW TO USE:
- Preparation: Ensure your air compressor is set to the correct pressure (Max. 100 psi) and your paint pot or fluid supply is connected securely to the 3/8" fluid inlet. Ensure the coating is properly thinned and mixed according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Adjusting Air and Fluid Flow: Begin by setting the air pressure at the gun to the recommended 29 psi. Use the fluid knob at the rear of the gun to adjust the material flow to your desired output. A good starting point is to open it fully and then back it off until you achieve the right amount of material.
- Testing the Pattern: Spray a test pattern on a piece of cardboard or scrap material. Adjust the fan pattern control at the side of the gun to achieve the desired spray shape—either a narrow, focused spray or a wide fan. Make small adjustments to the fluid flow and air pressure to optimize atomization and pattern shape.
- Application: Hold the gun perpendicular to the surface at a consistent distance (typically 6-8 inches). Pull the trigger fully and move the gun at a steady pace across the surface, overlapping each pass by about 50%. Release the trigger at the end of each pass.
- Cleanup: After use, disconnect the fluid and air lines. Clean the gun thoroughly using the appropriate solvent for your coating. Flush the fluid passages and wipe down the exterior to prevent clogging and maintain the gun's performance.
