The TOPS Knives Tom Brown Tracker Mini #4 is a small and remarkable survival knife. Many enthusiasts will recognize the large Tom Brown Tracker. In terms of shape this knife is almost identical, only 50% shorter and it weighs about one sixth of what its big brother weighs. Practical as a light-weight knife during a hike or as a back-up knife.
The spine of the blade has been enhanced with serrations in order to use it as a saw. The first serration is slightly deeper than the other serrations. With it you can, for instance, break the iron wire of a wired fence. The striking recurve in the middle of the edge is, for instance, great when rounding off wooden parts, or when cutting open shot game. The 1095 carbon steel blade is enhanced with a black Traction Coating to prevent rust and reflections. The micarta scales are enhanced with a subtle red liner. Micarta is great because it offers you enough grip with both dry and wet hands and when wearing gloves.
The knife comes in a sleek kydex sheath. This sheath is enhanced with a steel belt clip that enables you to horizontally carry it from your belt. This knife is made by hand by TOPS Knives in the United States. Each knife is accurately checked before it leaves the workshop. In addition, each knife is enhanced with a unique serial number.
