HOW TO USE:
- Prepare the Test Location: Identify the locations on the concrete slab where moisture testing is required, adhering to ASTM F2170 guidelines.
- Drill Test Holes: Drill holes into the concrete slab to the specified depth according to ASTM F2170.
- Insert Sleeve Extension: Insert a sleeve extension into each drilled hole.
- Condition the Hole: Allow the drilled holes with the sleeve extensions to condition for the period specified in ASTM F2170.
- Calibrate the Sensor (Recommended): Verify calibration using an EasyCare CalCheck.
- Insert the Smart Sensor: Carefully insert a RapidRH® 5.0 Smart Sensor into a sleeve extension.
- Cover the Hole: Place a protective cap over the sleeve extension opening.
- Take Readings: After the required equilibration time, use a RapidRH® Total Reader or DataGrabber to take readings.
- Record Data: Note the readings and the corresponding location on the floor map.
- Remove Sensor (for reuse): Carefully remove the Smart Sensor from the sleeve extension.
- Document and Analyze: Document all readings and observations and analyze the data.
